The PIA-R in Vicenza’s Central Padan Plain.
The PIA-Rs are public-private partnerships, whose main objective is to develop, promote and implement precise strategies for local development through the fulfilment of specific Area Integrated Projects (Pia-Rural).
Financed by European funds, the project aims to appraise the territory of participant municipalities by investing the available funds in order to improve the quality of life and the territory’s rural tourism, promote the diversification of economic activities and the improvement of offered services and support new soft mobility scenarios through the creation of a cycle-pedestrian route, able to increase the attractiveness of the area by linking it to the regional tourist offer.
